There are 4 parts with 30 questions all together. 

You have 40 minutes to complete this part of the exam. 

Don’t leave any questions blank. If you don’t know the answer, try to guess.Choose your answers the first time that you listen. The second time that you listen, check if your answers are correct.

LISTENING PART 1

There are 6 questions.

You will hear 3 short conversations on different subjects.

There are 2 multiple-choice questions for each conversation.

 

Choose between A, B and C for each question.

 

Tips

 

Quickly read each question (not the options) and underline the key points.

LISTENING PART 2

You will hear a monologue that lasts for 3 minutes.

There are 8 gaps.

 

Complete the gaps with 1-3 words that you hear in the recording.

Read the text quickly and underline the key points that will help you to identify the missing word(s).

LISTENING PART 3

You will hear an interview or conversation between two or more speakers. This task lasts for 4 minutes.

There are 6 questions.

 

Choose between A, B and C for each question.

LISTENING PART 4

You will hear 5 short monologues on related subjects.

There are two simultaneous listening tasks.

 

In each task, choose one answer for each speaker.

 

Tips

 

 

You will not hear the answer directly. This task tests your ability to determine the gist of what the speaker says as well as their attitude and main points.

 

Glance over the options in task 1 and 2 as you listen. If you’re stuck between several options, make a note of them and make a decision after you’ve heard the recording twice.
